Background Sounds Add a Background Sound to your web page AUTOMATICALLY using the Cool Page Objects Window. 1. Open the Objects Window. 2. Click the Sounds Tab. 3. Drag+Drop a sound file onto your page. |
Additional Method 1. Right click any blank area of your page to open the Page Properties. 2. Put a check in the Background Sound "On" box. A File window will automatically open and you may browse and select the sound file for your page. (Be sure to read the Warning message) |
Audio Controls Embed Audio Controls in your web page: 1. Generate the HTML code using the free Audio Controls Tool. 2. Insert the generated code into your page using the HTML Object Tool. |
Link To Sound Files Because some sound files are very large, it is best to link to these files rather than use them for a Background Sound or with the Audio Controls. Large sound files will cause a web page to take a long time to load in the web browser causing your viewers to possibly leave your web site before it finishes loading. File sharing is a common practice today, especially sound files, and many Hosts do not allow MP3 files due to their large file size and copyright laws and regulations. Note: The sound files that come with the Cool Page program are free to use without any restrictions by their creators. It would be wise to also provide links to the needed multimedia plug-ins in case your viewers need them to hear your sound files. See Linking To Downloads Guide. |
